Excessive pressure will build up if the water pump is faulty and will cause it to crack

Thank you for your quick response. A well known company installed a faulty water pump. I filed with the bbb for a cricket noise in the engine and while waiting months for a response, the resolution was a full diagnostic by the same place. I went to another location of the same company and they found the faulty water pump and belts too tight and while those months went by before the diagnostic/fix, the radiator cracked and they are trying to charge me to replace it. I will post the other 2 questions seperately or if you respond to this, I will post as a reply. Thank you again
