No backup lights

I have a 93 Plymouth Acclaim and when put in reverse I have no Backup Lights?

First check the fuses then the bulbs. If this does not work then it might be the selector switch on the trans around the shift selector itself.

Quick test is to turn on the ignition switch, unplug the neutral safety switch on the left front corner of the transmission, then use a stretched out paper clip or cotter pin to jump the two outer terminals. If you see a very tiny spark, you will also see the backup lights are on. That proves the neutral safety switch must be replaced. It's very inexpensive, and a fairly common problem.
