Cluch petal would come back up

My nissan sentra 1993 my cluch petal will get stucck when I swich gears, the petal will stay to the floor?

Sounds like you need a new clutch cable-try adjusting it

When you adjust it, you should have about an inch of "free play" in the pedal before you feel the resistance of the pressure plate/clutch action.
