Mazda MX3 Alternator Problem
Is there an easy way to test the internal voltage regulator in the alternator in a 1.6L mx3

Use a multi meter set on 20V check voltage out put at main alt cable, you should be seeing a steady output voltage, it will vary depending on battery condition, charge and system load.
