My daugher was driving her 1993 Isuzu Rodeo (4x4 5sp, V6) when suddenly it started to pull hard right. She slowed down and made it home. I could smell "hot Metal". I took it around the block to see if it was the brake caliper, or a frozen bearing, but everything seemed normal. I remove the tire and the caliper, brake pads, struts, cv joints, tie rod ect. All seem fine. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the automatic locking hubs. Any suggestions? Thanks

Was the rotor dis colored? Orange? It sounds like the brake hung up.

No it doesn't look like it got that hot. My daughter just told me that sometimes when she's backing up, there's a ticking sound coming from the passenger front wheel. I am going to remove the tire now and reinspect everything now that I have more light. Thanks for the response. I will check back asap.
