Car broke down

Car wont stay started after making weird grinding noise and stalling. It tries 2 start then makes the noise again

If the starter isn't making good contact with flywheel, it can make a terrible noise. If it is a starter issue, remove the starter and have it tested. Also, check the flywheel.
