1993 Ford Ranger Repair Question

I have a 1993 ford ranger it was.runnin fine and today i stomped on it then the check engine loght came on and now its runnin rough and idle low and when at a red light in drive it stalls out so i have to hold gas pedal but i changed fuel filter and air f

Changed fuel filter and.idk what it is any help would be great
