Truck revs but wont move in any gear. Sound like transmission or transfer case?

We have no trans listed here,

if an auto, the trans has internal issues

if a stick, the clutch may have failed

Yes its an auto. I was thrown off because the trans fluid was still clear red and smelled sweet. Figured blown trans would have burnt trans fluid

DID YOU GET UNDER THERE AND LOOK TO SEE IF ANY LINKAGES BETWEEN THE SHIFTER AND THE TRANNY/ TRANSFER HAVE COME LOOSE?

. WITH THE WHEELS CHOCKED, HAVE A BUDDY DO THE SHIFTING----WHILE YOU DO THE LOOKING
