1993 Dodge Spirit Repair Question

My 1993 dodge spirit starts then stalls
I have a 93 dodge spirit it start then stalls but if i hold the gas peddle down it stays running but as soon as i let my foot off the gas it stalls.the car ran fine it just happen out the blue. thanks for any help u might be able to give.

Check the idle air control and EGR valve to include the throttle position sensor-

Check for vacuum leaks. A large leak will do this

My car has been doing the same thing, a friend told me to check the egr valve, we have already changed the plugs, and the gas mileage went from good to really bad.. It only has 70 orig miles on it.. How do you check to see if this valve is bad?
