Dodge Dakota Transmission Problem
How do u remove the transmission dipstick tube.

There's a bolt through a welded-on tab near the top passenger side of the bell housing that must be removed, then you just twist and pull. It's sealed with an o-ring on the end. It's smart to spray some carburetor cleaner or brake parts cleaner around it where it goes into the transmission before you pull it out. That will wash off any loose dirt that might drop in.
