1993 Dodge Colt Repair Question

Car won' start
My 93 dodge colt turns over but won't start.it is a1.5 liter mitsubishi 5 speed. I changed out the alternator cap(the old one was had corroded contacts. where is the module for this located?Do I have to replace the entire alternator?

Check for applicable trouble codes. Have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure.
