If you work the throttle up and down at idle, any hitches? You can use digital multimeter at tps sensor signal wire, key on, dont have to start it. Work throttle up and down while you watch the voltage reading, does the voltage move up and down smoothly, Is there a hitch anywhere? If there is a hitch replace the sensor.
