I have a 1993 Lumina 3.1. While driving the car will shut off when it gets hot then won't start back up for a couple of hours. Once fully cold it will start and run again. Have changed the crank sensor, igintion module. Have checked the fuel pump and that is working fine. Have fuel at the fuel rod. Not throwing any codes and have had the coil packs also tested and they're fine. Told by the mechanic that it might be the brain but not sure if that will work.

Ask him if it looses injector pulse when it doesn't start. It has to be loosing something tha keeps it from starting and running.
