my front airvents won't blow

hi i have a 93' lumina i just recived from my grandfather as my first carr it has sat for 2 years and we have done the nessisary repairs on it. it's engine is fine and clean and works like new but the AC have a few cinks. our biggest problem is the facet the front airs vent's don't blow air. the windshield and floor vents are blowing tho the blower moter still works we just don't understand the problem can anyone help?

there is a vacuum motor under the dash on the left side that controls air flow by vacuum controls on the dash. you need to verify a signal from the dash controls to the motor to make sure the command is sent. if not, the control head is at fault, if it does, the vacuum motor is at fault.

not easy to get to this area.

Look under the hood for a small black plastic hose coming through the firewall. Follow it to the vacuum source looking for any breaks, cracks or leaks. Also follow any other lines that branch off because they may go to a vacuum reservoir (storage tank) and a leak there will cause the same problem. Using a vacuum gauge to determine if you have full vacuum at any given point is the best way to find it. You can cut into the line anywhere and splice it back together with a piece of vacuum hose. Find the broken line, you found your problem.
