93 chevy cavalier RS rear brakes

i have a 93 chevy cavalier RS and in the past week out of the blue the brakes on the rear wheels when i apply them the car seems to drop in the back and the brakes slam can you help me out?

This is typical of sticking rear parking brake cables. When the cable doesn't fully release, it keeps the shoes away from the anchor pin on top of the backing plate. That makes them grab the drum too easily. Also check the wheel cylinders to see if they're leaking. That will make the shoes grab too hard.
