Probably not. Only Chrysler makes their parts to interchange easily. GM has very little interchange between models and years. What you should be aware of is this is an extremely poor generator design since the '87 model year. It is very common to go through four to six of them in the life of the vehicle. What many professionals are finding out is to prevent those repeat failures, you should also replace the battery at the same time. Due to their design, these generators develop huge voltage spikes that interfere with sensor signals and they can destroy the internal diodes and voltage regulator. As batteries age, they lose their ability to dampen and absorb those spikes. The old battery will work fine in older pre-1987 cars.
