What is causing my 1993 Acura/honda Integra to misfire and have a low idle!!???

I recently changed the plugs and wires on my car, hoping it would fix the problem misfireing. The car has gotten worse and worse. It dies out on me and i have to wait about 10 minutes to start it again. The engine misfires really hard and its pops alot. It laggs bad too inbetween the misfires. where could the problem be?

I'm thinking more along the lines of distributor and timing belt. Did you change to NGK plugs? Hondas and acuras like NGK only! 12 bucks at auto zone. When replacing the plugs, did you check them? Smell and look. If they are white, smell them. If they don't smell like fuel. Your car isn't getting enough gas. If the plugs are black, it's getting too much fuel. If they are white, I would go for new injectors and change you fuel filter.
