Battery light
My battery light came on today. and i went to drive it and it wouldnt start. i walked home then went back to it an hour later and it started. i drove home, and my lights werent working and my blinker wouldnt shut off. i shut it off and wouldnt start again. Whats wrong with it?

The charging system might need to be inspected. It seems like the alternator is not working. You might need to charge the battery first.

thats the thing. i just got a new alternator put in not long ago. and how do i charge the battery?

I bought a battery charger to perform that task, its a 10 amp charger from Sears for about $30 or so. I would also get on the phone with whomever installed the alternator to see what liability they are willing to accept.
