Where does the crankcase vent come off of the block, when I removed the air filter box to change the spark plugs I found the hose to be missing and oil everywhere

From valve cover to air filter.

Check pcv valve, if it is ok, your rings are worn

Hi roy, I've got that one but I need to know where the other hose comes from off the crankcase, all I have is a flange coming into the air filter box and no hose and obvious oil splayed every where on the rear of the engine. My manual shows a line coming in but I can;t find wher it goes anywhere in the book, I know it must be there but I'm an old dude with bad eyes I guess

First, you have provided to engine size.

Most, if not all, go from the valve cover to the air filter.
