NISSAN TRUCK SMOKE PROBLEM

1992 Nissan Truck • 114,000 miles

One day I was going to school and my car was working perfectly then when I got home and try to start it again it started but it started to smoke and then I shut it off, it didn't start it for a while because I thought it might be over heated, the second time I tried to start it nothing would work so we thought it was the battery and when we tried to jump it a wire started to smoke, and it smelled the same way it did when it smoked before. So I got it towed to my house and when I tried it a couple of days ago the batteries fine the radio and lights worked but the car still wont start.

Check the starter and ignition switch.
