My truck will start and then immediately die and wont start again for a while, and it acts as if the battery is dead, but both the battery and the alternator tested good

Check for loose battery cable connections, loose/bad fusible links and ensure ground cables are securely held in place.

You might have a fault with the ignition switch. Testing would be required. If you have a DVOM< test the power supply to and out if ignition switch.
