How do you remove the front left axel from a Mazda B2600?

The cv axel wont come off. Having a hard time.

FWD AXLE SHAFT
Removal (B2600i 4WD)
Raise vehicle on hoist or support vehicle using stands. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove drive flange hub. Remove brake caliper and support aside. Using Puller (49-0118-850C ), separate tie rod end from steering knuckle. Remove stabilizer bar bushing assembly and disconnect stabilizer bar from lower control arm. Remove shock absorber lower mount bolt and separate shock absorber from lower control arm.
Remove drive axle snap ring and spacer. Support lower control arm with a jack. Remove bearing set lock screws and bearing set lock plate. Using bearing Lock Nut Puller (49-S231-635 ), remove drive axle lock nut. Remove hub assembly without allowing washer and bearing to fall out. Remove dust cover from steering knuckle. Using Puller (49-0727-575 ), disconnect upper and lower control arm ball joints from steering knuckle. See Fig. 1.
Using jack, lower the lower control arm and remove steering knuckle assembly from drive axle. Remove engine undercover. Carefully insert pry bar between inner CV joint and differential so as not to damage boot or oil seal. Using hammer, lightly tap end of pry bar to unseat inner CV joint assembly from differential. Remove drive axle assembly.
