1992 jaguar xj6 vanden plas sovereign There is a light on my information panel that looks like a lightning bolt, what does this mean?4 door, burgandy, tan interior, sunroof, 4.0 litre engine, power everything

Either it is a check engine light or a problem with the charging system. Have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from.

The lightning bolt means that there is a blown fuse on the car. There are many fuses on that car but check the most common places (driver and pass side where the small panels are with the plastic screws).

No need to have it plugged on a computer and pay the dealer for that.

I have a 94xj6 vdp checked like the other guy said your fuse panels located on driver and pass. Front end of doors. Take a dime and turn those plastic screws. And there may be another panel inside the door of your armrest if you have one. Check your manual to it shows you all of the warning Icons. Hope that help you buddie
