1992 Honda Accord Repair Question

My srs light is staying on, previously it would come on for a while and go out. from checking on the net it sound
My 1992 Honda Accord SRS light is staying on, previously it would come on for a while and go out. From checking on the net it sounds like the srs unit or cable reel. My horn is working fine so I'm thinging it may be the srs unit. Where is the unit located?I looked under dash under steering column but didn't see anything resembling it. Is it easy to get to? Thanks."

why guess?? have a shop pull the code so you can find the system that is failing. the parts you are referring too are expensive and it is just a guess.
this system is dangerous to dig and more dangerous to repair with the very real possibility of deploying the air bag.
i would re think your approach here and let a shop help you.
