I own a 92' Crown Vic. Last week I was driving when the car suddenly lost power and stopped running. I found the alternator had gone bad, so I replaced it. A few days after my battery died, so I replaced that as well. Today, I see that my "Voltage" gauge is still showing low, and the car is still running as if it about to die. My Father-In-Law gave the cars cables a quick look-over before we replaced the alternator, so as far as I know there is no problem with cables or connection. Is there anything else I should consider before throwing more money at the car?
