The car looses power even on mild inclines. The fuel consumption has just shot up. It is a carburetor engine. Had recently changed the clutch and fly wheel. What could be the problem?

Yep, but just realised that the lead cables from the distributor cap are worn out and loose. Just changed them, hope that sorts it out. Thanx.

Bad plug wires can cause misfiring and would affect performance. Good luck.

Did it, worked like a charm, also had some holes in the exhaust piping which I plugged. Thanx and God bless!
