I have a short somewhere in the DASH LIGHT circuit. I have checked it and seems to be OK. It continues to blow the fuse immediately. It has a 5 amp fuse. I even tried a little bigger 10 amp in it in case it was just too small. It still blew the fuse immediately. Does the dash light circuit serve something else that I am missing? Any other suggestions?

The lights are a gray wire l that leads to fuse box so something has to be grounding that out to blow the fuse or a short in the dash. Follow the wire back as far as you can. If something has bee recently installed in dash and was screwed in see if the screw is hitting the harness as that can cause it as well.
