Ignition problems 92 Chevy Pickup

The engine will start and run about 10 seconds then die no spark wait 5 min. And it will start again and run 10 seconds.

Check to make sure power is still going to the distributor. If it isnt' then you may have an ignition witch problem. But then check your pickup coil for resistance and broken wires leading from the module to the pickup coil.
