Why would a Chevy 3500 just hit a bump and die.

Why would a chevy 3500 just hit a bump and die, battery is up, starter is cranking, but it has no lights or power on, and truck wont start?

Check fusible links oat starter they may have burnt causing your problem.

Also - the 92 Chev Silveratdo 5.7L has two water temp sensors.

One goes to the dash visible gage; and the other goes to the computer. If it goes 'bad' the vehicle will not start or run; and this usually does not code either.

I know, since I drove to my Mom's for Mother's day one time; and then my truck would not start when I eventually tried to leave. Had to have it towed. $5 part; 5 minute replacement; and voila - truck starts. I couldn't believe it.
