I have a 1992 Chevy S10 Blazer with a 4.3L v6 TBI VIN Z. It ran just fine and develop an oil leak in the rear main seal. I pulled the engine and replaced all the seals and gaskets. I also installed a 3" body lift kit while the engine was out. Now it is very hard starting when cold it will back file and actually has caught on fire a couple of times, the only way to get it to start is to disconnect the fuel pump relay the weird thing is it stays running when the relay is unplugged and I can drive it it just doesn't have good pickup, It also idles very rough even after it warms up.
I have checked and replaced all vacuum lines and fittings, replaced the fuel regulator on top of the TBI, It has new plugs, wire, cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump relay, oil pressure sending unit, thermostat,Knock sensor and temperature sending unit . It also doesn't shift correctly it shifts hard and holds the second highest gear until you let off the gas a little bit. If you are going down the highway and press or the gas it won't accelerate unless you push it to the point of kicking in the passing gear then it will stay there until you let off the gas a little bit.
