Chevrolet Cavalier Starter Problem
My sarter will not move the sillanoed don't do shit how can find if bad? alt good belt . it's 2eng it had before i got it what the eng run if sell ? oh it's deth trap rusting out all most and i have kid it's not cheap find car how i find body to put my eng in . 2.2 = 1992 cal rs vl wagon what vl meen on my car?

Check for power at the small solenoid wire with the key on crank, you should have battery voltage there then and check main power cable at starter should have battery voltage all the time, if either of these are not so, the starter will be faulty or if auto the transmission isolator switch is faulty, you can also test starter my jumping battery voltage direct to small solenoid terminal on starter with ignition off the engine should then crank over.
