BMW 325i Steering Problem
My bmw 325i was stolen and the thief broke the steering lock by twisting the steering wheel very hard and now the steering will just turn without stopping and the tires will not move at all. what is broken and what needs to be fixed?

My recommendation is to inspect the components for damage. The repairs will require some special knowledge and hand tools, do you feel up to the task or would you rather seek out a repair facility?
