I was driving my car and the radaiator hose blew off i was maybe a block away from my house drove half a block and coasted into my drive way with the car not running because i shut it off...... befor i shut the car off like i said the hose blew off and it lost power but picked right back up then i shut it off so i bought a new radiator put it in and now my car wont start it turns overr but dosent start any ideas y

you may have damaged the engine from overheating. the thermostat may be the issue but if water is in the cylinders, it wont fire up

How would i get the water out? Is it permanent damage

most likely from a blown head gasket which requires removing the cylinder heads and having them checked for cracks. major job.
