Car spits and sputters and backfires alot trys to die but if i gas it twice it goes then it just wont start at all it will crank but wont fire
It when i would gas it started out spittingv and sputtering then it would rev up and go whenever i would gas it twice in a row real fast it would try to die at stoplights and it would even do it going down the highway. now it wont start at all it cranks but wont start and it backfired the whole time all this was happening

start with basics and check the plugs, cap and rotor.
distributors are common failures in this model.

either good or bad. not generally an intermittent failure.

Have u looked fo a air leak in the system nd wens the last time u changed the fuel filter nd did a tune up , have u cleaned the throttle body nd the intake,, I took my car 90 acura legend coupe to 3 shops nd everyone was sayin 'Oh its this nd its that' all it was, was a dirty fuel filter hope that helps
