I just fitted a second hand starter motor, to replace the old one which just clicked and wouldnt start the motor. Now it wont even click, I get nothing. The battery im sure is fine. I bought car off my newphew last week and he hednt stated it for atlest a week. After a little bump it was fine. Been parked up since then awaiting a replacment. I think I read somewhere that I might need to engage the clutch to start it, is this model fitted with this safety feature. Im going to have another look tomorrow and make sure all connections are clean then try again. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like you got a bad starter. Remove it and have it tested to see if it is Ok. As a matter of fact, have the other one tested as well.
If they [or at least one of them] passes the test then suspect a wiring problem or neutral safety switch problem.
(unfortunately, I don't have a wiring diagram fro that vehicle).
