1991 Pontiac Sunbird Repair Question

Topics covered: Heater, Coolant, Coolant leak.

Asked on February 14, 2012

What would cause light smoke to intermittently issue from the vents in a 1991 Pontiac Sunbird LE? Just guessing here, but I don't think it's electrical as it hasn't blown a fuse

This seems to occur regardless of what setting the controls are on, and is frequent but not constant

Thanks for the fast response on that, Roy. Is this something I should be concerned about? Obviously it will take out the heater in time, but what is the likelihood it will disable things like a simple vent setting?

it is a coolant leak. little now but will get worse in time. i would not delay in confirming it and getting it repaired.
