This car has been sitting for about 3 or 4 yrs, will it be worth buying? What all repairs cam you assume will need to be done, before it will can be driven? The car worked, the person just got another one, the model maybe a firebird, not for sure at the moment. Thanks in advance for your help.

Too old, sat too long. You will be putting in more than it is qorht and that assumes doing only the basics.

The fact that it sat for so long is the main issue here.

A quick list of things you'll either have to check or replace in a typical situation like this:

Oil & filter change
Transmisison fluid & filter change
Change belts, hoses
Pressure test (which checks for leaks) & Flush cooling system
Change thermostat
Check brakes/ repair as necessary
Change air filter
Tires (will need news ones)
Check wiring underhood (rats love to chew these)
Check exhaust system for leaks
Tune-up
