1991 Plymouth Acclaim Will Start Stay On Sometimes Other Times Won T Unless

My acclaim will start and stay on sometimes, other times it won't stay on unless I keep the engine reved and if it does stay on it randomly turns off as I slow to stop at lights or turn corners. What is wrong?
