The engine cooling fan does not come on when the engine is hot where is the fan switch/sensor ?

Honda concerto 1991 1.6i 16v DOHC Auto I cannot trace the
electric fan switch. It is not on the radiator and it is
not on the thermostat housing. The coolant temperature sensor
and the engine management temperature sensor are on the side
of the head but I cannot find the electric fan switch.

I can bring both fans on with the Air Con so preventing any
overheating.

No references to this vehicle but try this disconnect the CTS and jumper the harness and see what happens-also could be the fan relay for the radiator or the computer itself

Fan switch is on engine block above the oil filter.
