keeps stalling out while driving

i have a 1991 honda civic that keeps stalling out while driving! i spray starter fluid on the starter and sometimes it will start back up and other times it wont! not sure what the problem is! can u helpvehicle keeps stalling while driving

These cars had a big problem with the ignition distributor. Remove the cap and inspect for rust-dust. If so the unit is bad and needs replacing.

The most common cause of such faults with this model would be the PGM-FI main relay. The circuit soldered joints of the circuit board tends to crack causing intermittent contact.

Remove the relay and check the circuit board for signs of cracks at the joints. Resoldering the joints would solve the problem if it is the cause and it is almost as good if not better than a new replacement part.
