Honda Civic Defroster Problem
75-80-% of the time it stalls out.When it does run it has hard time starting after being turned off.I have found that when i hold the key all the way to the right it will run.No heat, no defroster etc.I got an estimate for $800 ,did i hear that wrong.

You definitely are getting conned if my suspicion is correct. I believe the ignition switch is bad and that should cost you less than two hundred bucks inclusive of labor.
