I have a broken circuit on one of my injectors

I have a 91 sonoma with a 2.5 tbi injection, the ground side of the injector keeps breaking circuit, if I make a quick ground tap to it it will shoot some fuel and run some days it dont quit running at all and some it does it alot where could the short out could it be the computer

It died one day on me and I was told to check for power and ground at the injector it had the power side but the ground was not there I put a wire in the ground side and touched it to the negative terminal, it shot fuel and started and continued to run so now I have that wire run into the cab so when ever it dies going down the road I tap it on the metal of my emergency brake and it will fire back up and run, oh yea it is a 5 speed

I stuck a wire in the ground side of the injector and touch it on the frame every time it dies, it shoots fuel in and will run again

If you have the distributor and I think you do, these reluctors would go bad and cause problems. That is where the fuel injection gets it signal from the dist. So you could check that out as well as the wires going to the injectors get lose and lose conection.
