Hi I dont know if this is the right place, but my question is difficult. I got a EB XR8 and plan to put it and the gearbox into a EL. Then change the EB motor which is a 5.0L Winsdor V8, from ECU and electrics to a Carby. What would I needas extras like distributor or manifolds and things.

You will require a complete no injected engine exhaust, radiator, engine loom, but the main problem is getting an engineering certificate as this is a non standard conversion and you will not get it registerd or insured with out an engineering certificate and this is not cheap. Do you home work first before starting.

Trouble is I doubt that it will meet emission codes that way, there is just not much room to move on engine mods these days, you will have to take this up with the engineer, as to just doing a carby mod, I do not have the regs to find out.
