Bought a brand new alternator thinking this was the problem, I was wrong. What is happening is my truck runs awhile then it suck the power out of the battery until it's dry and dead. Please tell me how to repair this problem. I also tried the truck with two batteries so it rules out a dead battery.

I need you to check to see if there is power from the alternator getting to the battery. With a volt meter, check the voltage at the battery. It will be around 12v. Then, start the vehicle and check it again. It should be around 14v.

Let me know what you find. Also, I am assuming that the alt you got is good.
