alternater is good but still not charging why

If the battery is down, take it off and get it charged. Cant do any testing if battery is down. How do you know the alternator is good?

Maybe a problem with alternator wiring circuit, to or from the alternator?

Just to add, do you have an internal or external voltage regulator?
