1991 Chevrolet Suburban Will Start Run 17 Seconds Cut Off You Must Turn Off Key

my suburban will start and run for 17 seconds and cut off. You must turn off key completely then re-start it. You may have to do this 4 to 7 times before it will stay running. Once you have run it and turn it off you will go through the same sequence to get it to run. I have replaced the computer and prom chip. Could it be the fuel pump or distributor?

start with fuel pressure test??
