I did an engine swap from a 305 to a 350 is it best to switch th ecm?

I have a code 43 on my car i read that it comes from the knock sensor being bad or the esc i put a new knock sensor and connector the esc is in the ecm correct? and if so would it be easier to jus switch out the ecm with one of the same year for a 350?

If you have a wiring fault, replacing the ECM is not going to work. ECM need not rbe replaced, it is the MEM-CAL that has to be replaced if it is faulty. Check this out to see if it is of any help.
