1990 plymouth voyager se 2.5 engine oil light comes on at idle when at operating temp then goes out when push the gas pedal

There have been some problems with oil pressure sending units but the pressure should be checked first with a mechanical pressure gauge. If it is low, the most likely cause is worn crankshaft and connecting rod bearings. It may be possible to replace them before any more serious damage occurs.
