1990 Oldsmobile Regency Repair Question

Oldsmobile Regency Heater Problem
My heater moter will not turn off. The fan speed switch will only
run on high. the off switch does not affect it.I have to raise the
hood and unplug the fan moter,then after I start the engine,go
back under the hood and plug it in again. PLEASE HELP
Thank You, I am totally disabled,but I can do
minor work and repairs.I live on soc-sec so I don't have any money to have it fixed, it is my only car.
