Car starts fine but then dies after a few seconds. Will run as long as you keep your foot on the gas.

Check for vacuum leaks and for any hose which runs to the air intake snorkle being disconnected/broken. Also if the pvc hose [runs from the valve cover to the intake manifold] is disconnected it will cause this problem.
